Description
Summary:
Most soldiers will tell you they have been afraid at some time. But in the Second World War a soldier called Joe Webb had a very special fear – of water. He could face the enemy bravely, but at the thought of crossing a river or a lake he would be scared stiff. For Joe believed in Fate, and he knew his fate was to be decided by water. On water, or over it, or underneath it. An Arab fortune-teller had told him so. And as it turned out, the Arab was right!
