Summary:
Every regiment in the British Army has a tradition it likes to look back on with pride, a history of stirring deeds, of supreme gallantry against overwhelming odds. But some regiments have other things in their history too, like a crazy feud that goes back for well over a hundred years.
Henshaw’s Horse and Faversham’s Foot had a feud like that, the sort of feud that made onlookers wonder who they were at war with – the enemy or each other!
