Description
Summary:
There was a certain Spitfire pilot who disliked all Americans. Jake Hobart was his name.
Jake was furious when an American squadron of B17 bombers arrived to take over the airfield next door to his own one. Big, clumsy brutes, he thought, lumbering all over the sky – they’d be a real menace to his little Spits. And when he was ordered to escort and protect them on their bombing sorties he liked the whole idea even less.
But war has a way of changing men. Changing the way they think about enemies, about friends . . .
