Description
Summary:
Gunboats were funny old things, but very good at the job they were built for – going up shallow rivers to wherever trouble broke out, and dealing with it. Flat-bottomed, they could sail along happily in only four feet of water, and with their two heavy guns, two pom-poms and eight machine guns they could dish out quite a bit of trouble too!
This is the story of H.M.S. Moreland and her crew – how they lost her and found her again, and how they were the fightingest bunch of blokes in the navy!
