Sandy Saunders lived in the dockland area of London, where family ties were very strong. If a cousin or a brother was a bad lot you didn’t tell outsiders about it. If you knew that someone in the family had done something crooked you kept your mouth shut. There was a code of silence.
Sandy was far from London now, but the code still bound him to silence. He knew the rule . . . say nothing!
