Description
Summary:
A promise made to a dying friend is one that a man must keep. So when Sergeant Steve Hutchison vowed to return his regiment’s bugle to its rightful place he knew that it had to be done.
But with a wounded officer over his shoulder and the Japanese hot on his heels it seemed that the most sensible thing to do was hide the instrument and go back for it later. And when he did go back he’d make sure that it was the Japanese who were doing the running!
