Description
Summary:
Supplying an army at war was always a headache for any General, and when the battleground was the jungles and mountains of Burma the headache grew worse. Railways and roads only go so far, then stop.
However, there was one type of train which could make the trip – the mule train. When wheels could go no further, the sturdy, stubborn mules took up the load and pushed on into hostile territory – with tough mule drivers like Ben Clark doing a lot of the pushing too!
