Summary:
Newly transferred to a desert reconnaissance group, Jim Collingwood was determined to prove he was good enough to serve with the experienced men around him. And on his first patrol he did just that, saving the others from an enemy ambush that could have wiped them all out.
But what no one in the unit knew yet was that Jim was under suspicion for having committed one of the worst crimes in the army . . . stealing from his own mates.
