Description
Summary:
Slowly and almost silently the German S-boat stole from a bank of mist, her three diesel engines just turning over and no more. At their posts the crew waited tensely for the order that would signal action.
And when that command did come, it was given in English . . . then relayed in German. For aboard this craft were both German and British sailors, former enemies united against a common foe.
