Description
Summary:
Sam Stubbs was nobody’s idea of a soldier. He was a pretty good chef though . . . in fact he’d won prizes for his cooking. He saw his contribution to the war effort as keeping the troops well fed.
He wasn’t really looking for action but he’d found it just the same – caught up in an Italian General’s plans for revenge on the British commander who had put his army to flight in the desert.
