This is the story of a young British Commando, private Robbie Sinclair. You’ll follow Robbie every step of the way from his training days in the Scottish Highlands, to the day he stood, stripped to the waist, on a French dockside, armed with only a Commando knife against the Nazi bullets whistling around him.

Robbie wasn’t born a hero. He was just an ordinary young guy, a bit clumsy, a bit careless – and to tell the truth – a good bit scared! But as he stood there, he knew a large part of the success of the D-Day invasion would depend on what he did in the next thirty seconds.

And that was when Robbie really began to earn the proud name “Commando.”

Moderate stacking curl. Rubbing to top of spine, general wear, internal tanning. Book is otherwise sound and in good condition. Bagged and boarded. Please examine photos carefully and see our notes on item condition before purchasing.
