The Allies were pushing their way ever deeper into enemy-held territory. Ahead of the advancing tanks and troops went armoured cars to probe the German defences.
Sergeant Tim Pointer commanded one of these vehicles doing their vital reconnaissance missions. He was well aware of the dangers he faced, but he also knew that no matter how terrifying those missions became, he couldn’t turn and run.
