Description
Summary:
The trial was over. The jury had given their verdict. The judge turned to the prisoner: “Sergeant Bill Evans, I hereby sentence you to death as a traitor!”
But this was the strangest trial of the war. It was held in whispers on night in the darkness of a Nazi prison camp, and everyone present was a prisoner of war. As soon as the verdict was reached a long knife glinted in the moonlight. There was no shortage of executioners for the traitor. Only Bill Evans knew how wrong they were.
If only they would listen to his fantastic story . . .
