Description
Summary:
Britain was holding its own against Nazi Germany – but only just. A desperate solution had to be found to supply the R.A.F. with much-needed aircraft. The civilian volunteers of Ferry Command were the answer – they would fly Lockheed Hudsons on a hazardous journey across the Atlantic, re-fuelling in snow-capped Greenland.
It was all done in secret – until they found the enemy waiting for them there!
