“Flame Squadron” they were called in the R.A.F. But to the baffled pilots of the Luftwaffe they were known as “Flame Devils” for it seemed that the pilots at this Spitfire squadron were superhuman.

Even when any of their outnumbered Spitfires was shot to pieces, cartwheeling across the sky in a mass of flames, somewhere in that blazing plane a cool fighting brain still functioned, a finger still pressed the firing button. A nice copy, some mild general wear. Book is clean and sound and in good condition. Bagged and boarded. Please examine photos carefully and see our notes on item condition before purchasing.
