See this Stuka dive-bombing that little British anti-submarine trawler? Well, the trawler was sunk, all right, and her young commander, Ron Brett, lost his beloved ship. But that’s only the start of Ron’s story.

The ship that picked Ron up was a merchantman called S.S. Gala, skippered by a big, bearded guy called Bill Slater – who just loved a fight. When Ron and Bill got together on schemes to make life hard for the Germans in North Africa, there was just no stopping them.

A decent copy. Some mild general wear, tanning. Book is sound and in good condition. Bagged and boarded. Please examine photos carefully and see our notes on item condition before purchasing.
