With the Japanese finally on the retreat, the fighting in Malaya was ferocious, often hand-to-hand. The advancing British were made to struggle for every inch of blood-stained soil.

One of the men at the sharp end was Lieutenant Neil Bradshaw. He had more problems than most, for not only did he have fanatical suicide squads to deal with, but a bunch of cut-throat bandits as well!
