Summary:
The German sailor went aloft in his rotary-wing kite. His task, to spot enemy ships for the captain of his submarine. He looked through his binoculars – then rubbed his eyes and looked again.
It was a boat, right enough. An enemy boat too. A flying-boat, a Sunderland, cruising quietly along, minding its own business, five hundred miles from land! And what were its crew doing? They were fishing!
