Description

Summary:

Any fool can fire a gun – but a sabre needs a hero

– That’s what Major Bertie Babbington, cavalry officer of the old school, thought. Bertie, with his monocle, his huge black stallion, his sabre and thirty mounted troopers behind him, believed a good old-fashioned charge could win a lot of battles.

Major “Rocky” Mountain, commanding a crack U.S. tank outfit, nearly had a fit when he found Bertie and his troopers posted to be his jungle scouting patrol. He’d thought cavalry went out with Napoleon.

The only way these two rugged scrappers could see eye to eye was over revolver sights. And soon that’s what it came to!
