Summary:
Sergeant-Pilot Ben Barrington found it was no fun flying over the Himalayas in an unarmed Dakota transport, ferrying supplies to Chinese troops fighting the Japanese. As well as very dicey mountain weather, there was the constant threat of attack by zippy Japanese Oscar fighters.
And to add to Ben’s problems, one of the best pilots in his unit just happened to be a liar, a cheat and a coward . . .
