Summary:
Caught in the middle they were, a bunch of Latvian soldiers serving with the Wehrmacht. On one side was the victorious Red Army who would deal less than kindly with them . . . and on the other was an S.S. unit hunting them down for the terrible secrets they carried with them.
Larin Kellas and his men knew the odds were stacked high against them, but they’d already come through too much to give up their trek to freedom without a bitter fight.
