Description
Summary:
Private Willi Schultz rubbed his smoke-grimed eyes and looked again. Nothing now disturbed the waters of this small French canal which had just seen its first excitement ever when some barges had collided and burst into flames.
And the sight of the empty waters pleased Willi. For who would believe him when he reported that he had seen a submarine? Nein, he must have imagined it . . . which was good news indeed for the crew of the British midget sub which was leaving the scene well below the surface at a great rate of knots!
