By early 1945, the Allies ruled the skies of Europe. With little or no fighter opposition, R.A.F. pilots like Flight-Lieutenant Philip Hodge were more or less free to seek out and destroy targets of their choice, Phil’s personal favourite being the mighty Tiger tanks.
But he and his fellow aces hadn’t reckoned on a desperate, last-ditch Nazi plan that was to severely disrupt their Tiger hunting . . .
