Summary:
Flight-Lieutenant Terry Brooks was a very likable chap. Pilot of a Wellington, he flew with a cool head and extreme courage. But he was hated by his Australian rear-gunner, Sam Field – and that hatred grew more intense when Sam’s best friend died saving Terry’s life.
Such was Sam’s loathing for Terry that he refused to fly in the same aircraft. So, when the tough Aussie was posted elsewhere, it seemed that Terry’s troubles were over. But it was not to be . . .
