Description
Summary:
Cadet pilot Willi Ferman had only one ambition – to fly a Luftwaffe fighter. But, as the Second World War neared its end, the German army was so short of men to stop the Russian advance that Willi and his fellow cadets were posted to the infantry, rifles thrust into their hands.
Yet through all the terrors of trying to stop the vengeful Russians, Willi kept his dream alive of being a fighter pilot . . . but all the odds were stacked against him.
