Description
Summary:
It was the winter of 1917 as the German Albatros fighter banked low over the mist covered marsh. The pilot’s eyes opened wider with terror . . . for down there he could see the dim shape of a man looking up at him.
This figure cast no shadow – and the face was that of the British pilot he had callously murdered and dumped in the swamp several days earlier!
