Description
Summary:
Sunderland co-pilot Keith Blake looked, then he looked again. Yes, it was a sub all right, about twenty feet below the surface and miles north of where any British submarines were operating. What’s more, it hadn’t seen them. Now it was surfacing in a welter of foam.
He nudged the pilot, yelled to the bomb-aimer, then watched the depth charges fall lazily towards their target. How could Keith know it was a British submarine, miles off course, with his own cousin, C.P.O. Tom Gould, aboard her?
