Summary:
He was a jinx was Lenny Hawkins, a Jonah, a soldier who never seemed blessed with even a hint of good fortune. So his mates sarcastically dubbed him “Lucky Lenny” . . . and the name stuck.
Needless to say, that didn’t help Lenny’s confidence any, but he gritted his teeth and set out to prove everybody wrong. Not easy, though, when luck continued to evade him faster than rats escaping from a sinking ship!
