Description
Summary:
In was 1941 and Operation Barbarossa, the Nazi invasion of Russia, was under way. German forces were rolling forward, confident of pushing the defenders before them.
But one tank regiment met unexpected resistance among rugged hills just over the frontier. A band of Soviet Border Guards – normally no warriors – had been moulded into fighting shape by a couple of tough Cossacks.
Now this unit was determined to make use of the rocky terrain itself to make sure the panzers would not pass!
