Description
Summary:
In the thirteenth century, a great horde of savage horsemen rode out of the East, bent on invasion and conquest. Thousands died in Russia and Poland trying to stop them, but it seemed nothing could halt the advance of the merciless Mongols.
One man had special reason to hate them. Hans of Pomerania had been disgraced and disowned by his knightly order because of them. So he vowed to inspire others to make a desperate last stand, to help turn the Mongol tide – it was time to fight and to win back his honour.
