Description
Summary:
Scene – a British fighter base in the Western desert. Every plane is fuelled and armed, ready to go.
Screaming low over the dunes come two Me109s, guns blazing. They come in again and again, smashing planes and buildings, killing men. And the only opposition is one fighter pilot with twin Brownings. His mates are huddled in a slit trench and not one attempts to take off to fight the enemy in the air.
Was every man in that squadron a coward? Or was there another reason . . .
