Summary:
In November, 1939, Russia launched a savage attack on Finland. They soon found that the small nation would be no pushover as the plucky Finns put up a fierce resistance.
Captain Don Powell and Sergeant Jack Ellis were there as British observers – with strict orders to avoid getting involved in the war. That was not easy and sooner or later both knew that they would have to pitch in and help!
