From the moment Corporal Tom Ryan was brought into the Japanese prison camp, he was a marked man. The Japanese Commandant had been told to single him out for special treatment.
Other eyes watched Tom’s arrival. They belonged to a prisoner who had once been in his platoon. And that man told a tale which made Tom hated by every prisoner in the camp.
So Tom knew he had to escape . If the Japanese didn’t finish him off, his fellow prisoners just might do the job for them.
