Description
Summary:
Officially there were 2 1/2-ton GMC trucks, but to their American crews they were better known as “Jimmies”. Thousands of these amazingly tough vehicles were built, and they supplied front-line troops in every theatre of war where U.S. forces were involved, from 1941 onwards.
But nobody had to convince Corporal Jimmy Willis how tough these trucks were. He was happy to be behind the wheel of one whenever he went to war!
