Description
Summary:
One by one, five Allied prisoners of war dropped from a railway wagon and scuttled desperately away. One by one, they dodged the seeking search-light beams and gathered in the deep shadows of the huge Japanese-held marshalling yard.
Safe in cover, all five exultantly breathed the air of freedom, and planned their next move. Had they known then where they’d be seeking shelter before dawn broke, they’d have surrendered on the spot.
Condition:
Small loss to top corner and at base of spine. Slight stacking curl. Internally very clean and well-preserved. Overall, good condition. Bagged and boarded. Please examine photos carefully and see our notes on item condition before purchasing.
