Description
Summary:
The Middle East, 1916. Sergeants Ron Carter and Sid Blake served in the same regiment, but that was all they had in common. Ron was a fearless fighter while Blake was a shirker whose main aim was dealing in black-market goods.
But when Ron was captured by the Turks, Blake was detailed to take his place . . . an action that could prove costly for the men of Ron’s platoon.
