Summary:

Private Alfie Price was special – or rather his nose was. It was on the large side, but more importantly, it could sniff out smells that ordinary people couldn’t detect. This came in very useful and got Alfie and his mates out of a few scrapes with the Germans in 1940.

But there was one particular aroma that struck fear into Alfie’s heart. It belonged to a professional assassin who had tried to kill him before the war. Unfortunately, he never got a look at the killer’s face, so you can imagine his terror when he smelled the scent once more. Could Alfie hunt him down before he struck again?
