Description
Summary:
It was just a cheap six-dollar pocket watch, but it had been in the Cater family since the 1800s. Passed down from generation to generation, it had survived the American Civil War, the Indian Wars of the Wild West, and the blood-soaked trenches of World War One. So Frank Cater was devastated when he was taken prisoner in 1943 and the watch was looted by a German soldier.
But time has a way of playing funny tricks. The watch changed owners many times and where it ended up – well, you’ll just have to read on to find out!
