Description
Summary:
The Royal Artillery provide a constant barrage of heavy shellfire as support to British Infantry troops as they steadily advance through occupied Italy in 1943.
There’s a friendly rivalry between them – the footsloggers think that all those Artillery lads do is fire their guns in the morning, then settle down to relax for the rest of the day.
But after a horrific accident in the field, Artillery Sergeant Henry Warburton is very badly shaken. It makes him wonder . . . is there such a thing in warfare as Friendly Fire?
