Description
Summary:
It had been the hottest of action for the Canadian troops who stormed ashore in 1942 at the French port of Dieppe in an audacious but unsuccessful strike into Hitler’s Europe.
Owen Granger was one of the lucky ones . . . although wounded and captured, he would make it back to Canada and eventually be posted to tackle less strenuous duties on his country’s west coast.
All fine in theory, but nobody knew that the Japanese were about to launch a deadly strike which they had codenamed “Inferno”!
