Description
Summary:
Jack Cooper always looked out for the underdog. He had cared for his younger brother when they were orphaned and forced to live in a grim Victorian workhouse. When he grew up, Jack joined the army and was part of a unit sent to France to observe how the French army did things.
He also saw that life there could be very hard for the ordinary people and, after defeat at the hands of the Prussian Army, civil war broke out. The British had orders to leave but Jack was not willing to obey when his military experience could help protect innocent civilians.
Despite great danger to himself he would always have a Sense of Duty!
