Description
Summary:
John Heorot and his fellow Anglo-Saxon warriors had defended England against the Norman invaders led by William the Conqueror . . . and lost that battle. They had then been driven from hearth and home by the same ruthless enemy and ended up as mercenary soldiers in the ancient city of Constantinople.
There would prove to be much fighting to do and among the foe facing them were the same Normans who had caused them so much grief. It was time to settle the matter once and for all . . . or fall in battle trying!
