Description
Summary:
Some of the fiercest Second World War jungle battles between the British and the Japanese took place in the rugged hills of North-East Assam. It was here the Naga tribesmen lived, peaceful natives that the Japanese openly scorned. But the British knew just how tough and courageous the Nagas were, and how deadly were their razor-sharp chopping knives.
One man who really found what fighter the Nagas were, was R.A.F. pilot Bill Denton, and he raised a private army of these tribesmen to show the Japanese just how wrong they’d been.
