Description
Summary:
After all but dying in the Crimean War, Cavalryman Henry Ball decided he’d had a bellyful of war. He sailed for the US intending to make a new life, as far from anything military as he could manage.
At first his life went well and he prospered as a farmer. Unfortunately for him, though, the states of North America were soon at war with one another. How long could he avoid being drawn into their civil war?
