Description
Summary:
Every man there had broken a rule, spoken out of turn to some important official or simply been in the wrong place at the wrong time. Now they were all expendable, sent to squadron with obsolete equipment and detailed to battle where the action was thickest and deadliest.
The other thing they had in common was that they could fight. Boy could they fight! The Germans learned this to their cost . . . and so did at least one of the men who had sent them there.
