Description

Summary:

The Nazi pilots heaved a sigh of relief when they saw the Polish biplane nose-dive into the ground. That obsolete wreck had been almost a match for the Messerschmitts, thanks to the pilot’s superb skill. But their relief would have been short-lived had they known that Jan Zelewski, ace pilot of the Polish Air Force, had escaped with his life.

Not only had he survived, but was now on his way to Britain to join the R.A.F. – so that he could get his hands on a Spitfire!

Condition:

Stacking curl. Moderate general wear, internal tanning. Otherwise generally clean and sound and in good condition. Bagged and boarded. Please examine photos carefully and see our notes on item condition before purchasing.
