Description
Summary:
By 1918, the end of the Great War was in sight, but even as it ground towards its bloody conclusion, the U.S. Marine Corps were shipped in, charging while others retreated, straight to the front line. Facing German machine guns, barbed wire, mortar shells and mustard gas, the Americans were fearless in battle, earning them the German nickname ‘ Teufel Hunde’ or . . . Devil Dogs.
