With the scars of the Second World War still healing, it wasn’t long before Britain entered another conflict. Alec Murray was serving in the Black Watch in Kenya during the Mau Mau Uprising – but it wasn’t the Rebels he fought there.
Injured and separated from their C.O., Alec and his friends were taken in by a native village, themselves hounded by raiders profiteering from the war.
