Description
Summary:
For the Marshall family, the navy was in their blood. Roderick Marshall was a Rear Admiral; his son Norman was a Lieutenant . . . so it was only natural when his daughter Judith signed up for the WRNS.
Judith wanted freedom and excitement. She wanted to do her part for her country and fight against the Germans in whatever way she could. But, one day in 1944, Judith would undergo her most dangerous mission: delivering a message to HMS Forward and dodging deadly Dornier Do 217 shells as she sped to the coast.
