Description
Summary:
Sid Dawson learnt his flying skill as the pilot of small biplanes which sprayed crops over the length and breadth of America. Then, when war came in 1939, he hot-footed it back to Britain to join the R.A.F.
And there he soon showed his special ability to fly at tree-top height in any weather, going so low that he could almost navigate by reading the street signs. Trouble was, he did all this in multi-engined bombers!
